Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of rhetoric about
China. I’ve been told they they’re not really “Commies” anymore. I’ve heard the
Chinese regime is taking a turn for the better. People pitch a pretty
convincing argument. They call it “Modernizing Authoritarian Government”. Well,
I was on the path of believing until I saw the most Horrifying. Thing. Ever.
Meet He Zhi Hua, the man who was brutally murdered by the
Chinese government via roller trucks.
Yes that’s right. That’s his dead body entangled in the tires. That’s
the remnants of his crushed head on the pavement. So, tell me, is the Chinese
government still not that bad?
He Zhi Hua was ordered by the Chinese government
to move from his property because they wanted to take it over for commercial
use. Hua refused to leave his land and in protest, lied across the road. When
the trucks came, government officials ordered the drivers to run over him.
Does that seem like a government that respects
basic human rights? Hello? The government literally CRUSHED one of their
citizens like a worthless bug because they dared act against the government in
a peaceful way. Are you kidding me? On top of that, the government tried to
keep it on the down low. Yes-sir-ee bob, that’s a modernizing country right
there. And we go to them when we
run into debt problems. We go to these BARBARIANS. Awesome isn’t it?
Remember this image, kids, when you hear about
how horrible America is. When you hear about how unfair it is. When you hear
the “class warfare” rhetoric. When you hear people complaining about their lack
of wealth. When you hear complaints about food stamps. Remember what we’re
battling. Remember that we have it pretty darn good here in America. We can
thank the Founding Fathers for seeking God first and crafting a country founded
on the notion of liberty. It’s not bad to be skeptical of the government.
America is a shining city on a hill, and I don’t care who disagrees. Look at
the atrocities around the world. Jesus called us to be the light of the world.
We need to expose things that need exposure- even if it offends.
Matthew
5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a
hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights
a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand,
where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that
everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
